Its precast segmented design means that Cretex shelters can be rapidly installed in increments appropriate to the number of people needing to be accommodated. Units are delivered complete with a security door and ventilation apertures. Concrete construction means strength, security, low maintenance, and resistance to rust, rot, fire, rodents or environmental hazards. Only minimal site preparation is required for installation. The attractive appearance blends with the landscape, and units can be easily painted to conform with surrounding structures. Utilities can be added by others.

Notes:

1. Service and access door frames are cast in monolithic end caps at factory.
2. 14 Ga. hollow steel doors manufactured by Trussbilt
® or equivalent. Doors are designed to withstand the impact of a 20 pound 2"x4" moving at 100 m.p.h.
3. Door and door frames are supplied with a primed finish.
4. Joints are to be sealed. Available options include butyl rubber sealant and/or exterior grade caulking.
5. Cretex Concrete Products North, Inc. supplies material only. Installation to be performed by others.
