Cretex Concrete Products North, Inc

Company Overview

Cretex Concrete Products North, Inc. (formerly Elk River Concrete Products) was formed as a company in Elk River, MN in 1917. From its inception, Cretex Concrete Products North, Inc. has been supplying various precast and prestressed products to the construction industry. Our relentless focus on quality, service and innovation has led our customers to rely on us as their supplier of reinforced concrete pipe, manholes and lift stations, box culverts, prestressed concrete bridge beams, prestressed concrete pole bases and other specialty precast products. Many of the precast / prestress products in the field today were developed by Cretex Concrete Products by listening to our customers and leveraging our depth of knowledge and experience in concrete manufacturing processes. Our test lab in Elk River works closely with MNDOT, WIDOT and NDDOT to ensure we are meeting and exceeding their requirements for structural integrity and quality processes. In addition to our own rigorous internal quality standards and testing procedures, we also utilize our associations with PCI, ACPA and NPCA to provide external audits of our quality processes. Headquartered in Maple Grove, MN, Cretex Concrete Products North, Inc. has several manufacturing plants strategically located to serve the Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin markets. This provides our customers with the flexibility to bid on projects anywhere in their market with the confidence that Cretex Concrete Products North can meet their needs regardless of where they go. As our customers grow beyond our market, we can leverage the strength of the other Cretex Concrete Products Companies to provide service in South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and Montana. We have been involved in some of the largest and most difficult projects in the industry. From manufacturing the bridge beams for the  Bloomington Ferry Bridge in Minneapolis, MN, to producing box culverts for the Grand Coulee Levee in Grand Forks, ND to supplying reinforced concrete pipe for Phase 1 of the Washington County Interceptor in St. Paul, MN, Cretex Concrete Products North has demonstrated it’s commitment to improving the infrastructure of our market. Though we have been involved with many large profile jobs, our real success has come through helping our customers be successful on all of their projects regardless of size, location or complexity. At Cretex Concrete Products North, we know that our success depends on our customer’s success.
